New Arrivals/Restock

Sip and savor 2018 Pajarito Gran Reserva Carménère, a robust, flavorful red from the heart of one of Chile’s oldest wine regions, Maule Valley. Intense red-purple in the glass, this Carménère first entices with a complex, spiced bouquet of fresh black fruits that carry into the palate. Layers of flavor are revealed, with nuanced hints of cedar, black tea, and leather mingling with toasted vanilla and dark chocolate. Medium-bodied and well-balanced, this wine delivers a satisfying finish. Maule Valley has diverse terroir and a Mediterranean climate, with cool ocean breezes tempering warm, sunny days. A long growing season allows grapes to ripen slowly, leading to wines with concentrated flavor. This Carménère was crafted by Cremaschi Furlotti, a 5th-generation family winery. Known for crafting distinctive and elegant wines, Cremaschi Furlotti is also committed to sustainability and protecting the environment; it was one of the first wineries to be accredited with the Wines of Chile Sustainable Certification. Perfect for sipping on its own, Pajarito makes a fine match with pasta with pesto sauce, roast beef, lamb chops, and spicy pork dishes. Cheese lovers will want to explore serving this alongside full-flavored cheeses, such as Roquefort, Brie, and Camembert.
