From Southern France comes 2019 Merveille de Vignes Chardonnay, a fresh white wine that's as good in the glass as it is good for the Earth. This vegan Chardonnay is from EthicDrinks, a French company committed to environmentally friendly practices in producing sustainable wine. Discover a beautiful balance of crisp apple and creamy peach notes, joined by hints of citrus, white flowers, and tropical fruits. The finish is dry, smooth, and wonderfully refreshing. This delectable Chardonnay was awarded a Gold Medal in the 2020 Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge. Judges noted, “The palate shows [a nice] balance of freshness and softness. The flavors linger beautifully with restrained acidity.” We recommend pairing 2019 Merveille de Vignes Chardonnay with white fish, shellfish, quiche, and veggie-based dishes. It’s also excellent as an aperitif. “Merveille de Vignes” translates to “Wonder of Vines” and symbolizes the vine's ability to adapt to the environment and people. The distinctive Merveille de Vignes line of wines is presented by EthicDrinks, a pioneer in the sustainable drinks industry. EthicDrinks is carbon-free and uses recycled material without any use of plastics in packaging. The company partners with The World Wide Fund for Nature France (WWF France) and is a Certified B Corporation; with this impressive distinction, EthicDrinks meets “the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose."
