The latest vintage in a line of award-winning, customer favorite wines, 2019 Paperbark Shiraz displays deliciously rich, intense fruit flavor synonymous with Australian Shiraz. Crimson red with purple hues, this red wine entices with concentrated aromas of plum and spice with subtle hints of vanilla. Juicy black cherries and red currants burst forth on the palate, with spicy oak and soft tannins combining to give this medium-bodied Shiraz a lingering finish. From a fifth-generation winemaking family in South Australia, Paperbark wines are as loveable as their namesake: an Australian tree with peeling bark and fluffy white flowers. Made from grapes grown on sandy soils over limestone and nourished by the Australian sun, optimal flavor is developed with minimal intervention.
