2025 Head Kore 99 Skis

Back again for 2025, the Head Kore 99 continues to be a top pick in the all-mountain category, providing the maneuverability needed for soft snow performance while maintaining stability and power for on trail performance. This ski has been very cleverly designed by the folks at Head – they've taken the ingredients for a traditionally light and soft ski, added some Graphene, laid it all out using some creative construction, and come up with a ski that’s powerful, precise, and super versatile, all while maintaining the lightweight feel they started with.

Why we like it:

The Kore 99 is a true jack of all trades and can keep up with just about anything you throw at it; it’s lightweight, nimble, and fun in soft snow, yet it has the on-piste prowess of a much beefier ski.

Who it's for:

East coast or west, skiers everywhere will value the Kore 99 for its versatility and all around capability, and can confidently choose this ski as their quiver of one. Heavier skiers that can bend this stiff ski will love the energy they get back.

Highlights:

Crafted with Karuba and Poplar wood for agility and lightness, it incorporates a carbon layer for energetic flex and stability. This carbon, known as Graphene, adds both torsional and longitudinal stiffness for precise carving and performance on hard snow. Add to that a playful shape and rocker profile, and you’ve got a ski that’s perfect for powder and hardpack alike.

Things to consider:

As the Kore 99 is quite stiff, aggressive skiers on the lighter side may find this ski to be more difficult to bend, and therefore get some chatter at speed or when the ski is at a high edge angle. Those happy making turns at shallower edge angles shouldn’t experience this, so don’t be dissuaded if you’re not a heavy, powerful skier – the Kore 99 could still be a great choice for you.
