The 2027 Nordica Unleashed 106 CA is a playful freeride ski built for skiers who want a surfy, maneuverable ride with just enough edge grip when it counts. It blends floatation and agility for soft snow adventures without losing its composure when things get firm.
Why we like it:
It offers a balanced, accessible freeride feel with surprising edge hold and damping for a metal-free construction.
Who it's for:
Best suited for advanced to expert skiers who prioritize soft snow performance, slashes, and playfulness in off-piste terrain.
Highlights:
The Unleashed 106 CA combines Nordica’s Freeride Flow Shape with a Lite Performance Wood Core and carbon stringers, keeping things light and snappy. Drift Lock Technology adds a tuned metal strip to enhance edge hold without sacrificing maneuverability.
Things to consider:
It’s not a hard-charging ski for icy steeps or high speeds; skiers who prefer precision and dampness might want more metal underfoot.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Skis true to size. Consider sizing up for more float and stability in deep snow.
