It adapts very well to live in an community fish tank, because no has aggressive behavior and most foods are accepted but a varied diet is essential for it to develop the best condition and color. In this post you can appreciate how graceful its body shape is and as this beautiful fish matures it develops elongated spines on the dorsal fin that have a thread-like appearance.
It is among one of the favorite fish for South American Cichlid Lovers. It is one of our favorite fish. We do not hesitate to recommend it.
