The Texas Independence Pale Ale is named in honor of Texas' Declaration of Independence from Mexico on 2 March 1836, thereby forming the Republic of Texas. This kit will only be available for limited time. Quantities are very limited, so order quickly because Texas will be another year older before you see this one again.
This glorious beer features Pale Moon 2 Row malt by Blacklands Malt of Leander, TX and Weyermann Beechwood Smoked Malt. Naturally, this recipe is hopped with Amarillo hops for a bold yet refined Texas taste. It also features Texas Wildflower honey, Crystal 40 L, and Honey malt.
Blacklands Malt is a Texas craft maltster named after the fertile black soil of the Blackland Prairies. We encourage you to learn about their vision to bring back the local malt-house on their website.

Specialty malts: Beechwood Smoked Malt, Crystal 40 L, Honey Malt
Featured hops: Amarillo
