Alternanthera Rosaefolia Mini is a dwarf-sized variant of its popular counterpart, Alternanthera Reineckii. Boasting some of the most vibrant coloration in aquatic plants, Alternanthera Rosaefolia Mini shows off varying shades of red, magenta, pink and purple. This particular species grows significantly smaller and makes a great midground aquatic plant choice in nano planed aquarium tanks. Care is relatively simple and AR Rosaefolia Mini is not too demanding. Providing quality LED aquarium lighting, CO2 injection and quality aquarium soil will yield bushier and bolder hues. If there is a lack of micronutrients this aquatic plant will suffer and the leaves will become dull in color. When provided with optimal conditions, Alternanthera Rosaefolia Mini grows significantly quick and will easily grow to the height of the planted aquarium tank and begin growing emersed if left unchecked. With frequent pruning and care, AR Rosaefolia Mini is very likely to provide a colorful, decorative bush in an aquascape layout that will add to the overall appearance and provide refuge for smaller fish and shrimp species. Propagation is simple and can be done by trimming along the stem and replanting it into quality aquarium soil.
