The Balvenie Tun 1509 Batch 8 encapsulates the true craftsmanship of The Balvenie — a Speyside single malt featuring 18 of the finest and most rare casks from the distillery, each expertly hand-selected by Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE, then married together in Tun 1509 — the large oak marrying vessel in Warehouse 24 at The Balvenie Estate in Dufftown.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does Tun 1509 differ from Tun 1858?
Both are The Balvenie’s TUN marriage series using large oak marrying vessels in different Balvenie warehouses. Tun 1509 in Warehouse 24 is the current programme’s vessel; Tun 1858 was the earlier series. Each batch is unique and unrepeatable based on the specific casks David Stewart selects.
