Boyd Enterprises Chemi-Pure Green aquarium chemical filter media combines the highest grade of low dust pelletized activated carbon with premium ion exchange resins for a balanced formula that meets the unique filtration needs of freshwater planted aquariums and ponds. Proprietary formula significantly reduces tannins, odors, toxins, organic compounds and medications while helping to stabilize pH and maintain macronutrient levels. Produces crystal clear water for deeper light penetration. Large 44 oz. size is great for use in large tanks. The all-in-one media is packaged in a convenient nylon bag and treats up to 300 gallons.

Directions

One 44 oz. nylon bag treats up to 300 gallons for 2 to 4 months.

Keep Chemi-Pure Green sealed in container until ready for use. Remove bag from container and rinse gently under clean running water until clear. Then place nylon bag in any outside power filter, canister filter, or external sump. For best results, water should flow gently through the filter bag and media.

Chemi-Pure Green should be changed every 2 to 4 months depending on bioload and clarity. If more than one Chemi-Pure Green filter bag is used, change one at a time every week until all packets have been replaced. For tanks with high levels of driftwood and/or tannin coloration, a large water change or replacing Chemi-Pure Green more frequently at first may be necessary to reduce coloration of the water.
