This malt wine, which serves as the base of the genever, is then infused and blended with carefully selected distillates from juniper berries and other botanicals, such as hops, cloves, anise, licorice, ginger, and citrus. The final product is brought to an alcohol content of 38%, which has been carefully chosen by the master distiller for the perfect balance of aroma and mouthfeel.
