The partial whole-cluster inclusion adds an attractive touch of white pepper and herbal bramble complexity. Silkiness personified on the palate. It is light-to-medium-bodied but possesses remarkable depth and intensity courtesy of the 80-year-old vines. Pure red cherry; pomegranate; and red currant flavors dominate; framed by fine-grained; elegant tannins and a refreshing; crunchy acidity. The influence of the large foudres provides a seamless texture without imparting heavy oak flavors; leading to a lifted; perfumed; and mineral-flecked finish.
