The Twin Expedition by CMI is a revolutionary dual ascender designed for top-tier arborist professionals. Its single handle allows for easy and intuitive operation, while its safety features ensure a redundant and secure ascent. The EXPTWIN is compatible with three rope techniques, including the 2:1 doubled rope technique (DdRT), 1:1 single rope technique (SRT), and 1:1 twin line ascent (DbRT). What sets this ascender apart is its one-finger operation, which allows for one-handed downward adjustability using both cams.
From CMI: "This device is designed and sold as a tool for ascending vertical or near vertical ropes of 9mm to 16mm, and fixed ropes of 5mm to 8mm in diameter."
