Aged for 18 months in 50% new French oak, this wine opens with rich aromas of blackberry, raspberry, and plum, layered with hints of licorice, thyme, vanilla, and cherry. The deep fruit character is balanced by a refined structure, showcasing the elegance and power that define Daou’s winemaking.  

Crafted from hand-harvested grapes grown in calcareous, loamy soils, this Cabernet Sauvignon delivers a beautifully balanced palate. Lush flavors of black fruit and chocolate-covered blueberry intertwine with notes of cedar, mineral, and subtle herbal undertones. The fine tannins are exquisitely rounded, lending a long, stately finish that highlights the wine’s complexity and aging potential. The 2023 vintage reflects a season of resilience, where late rains and a September heatwave resulted in concentrated, expressive fruit.
