Introducing the Huron 17'—the newest addition to our Huron lineup and the shallowest model yet. Built on the proven Prospecteur hull design but refined with a lower profile, this canoe delivers the perfect balance for paddlers carrying lighter loads or seeking an easier portage after a full day on the water. The shallower design also means better tracking and control when afternoon winds kick up. Crafted from durable T-Formex Lite, the Huron 17 resists damage and maintains its shape season after season, making it an ideal choice for wilderness expeditions and family adventures alike. At just 59 lbs, it's light enough to cart and carry, yet sturdy enough to handle backcountry lakes and river runs with confidence.
