F-4075 Poplar Fluted Box Newel posts are designed as an intermediate, landing or starting newel and pairs easily with the 4091, 4092, 4375 newels. Hardwood wall is 3/4" with the main shank is 3-1/2 inches; 58 inches tall. Custom sizes are available on a per job quote. Poplar is the best choice for a paint grade newel with its tight grain and economical cost. It can also be stained dark to match walnut, mahogany and Brazilian cherry hardwoods.The F-4075 Fluted Box Newels are made with lock mitered corners, which means they have no end grains, developing elegance. Poplar is an in stock item and ready to ship. Half-sawn newels are available as an option with an 8 to 10 business day lead time to ship.
