Feeder Snails

Feeder snails are a great addition to many aquariums. They help clean algae from glass and decor, eat leftover food and waste, turn over the substrate, and even help clean plants. They’re useful little members of a cleanup crew, but they also serve another important purpose as live food.

Fish like pea puffers, loaches, and other snail eaters, feeder snails can be a natural food source. Baby snails in particular are a great option for smaller predators that need live foods in their diet.

You will receive 10 Feeder snails, ranging in size from 0.1 inches to 0.25 inches in length.

• Snails help keep a shrimp tank from re-cycling by providing an adequate bio-load
• Eat leftover food to prevent ammonia spikes
• Hardy so they can adjust to most water parameters
• Great live food source for pea puffers and predatory fish

Our feeder snails may include Ramshorn, Pond Snails, Bladder Snails, or similar varieties.
