Handcraft Supplies Sodium Bentonite can be used as a fining agent for homemade wines and ciders. Simply mix with hot water before adding to juice or wine.
This item contains 100g of Sodium Bentonite in powder form, in a tamper proof and resealable tub.
Follow the instructions on the label: for use as a fining aid, use 3g (approx 2/3 teaspoons) per 4.5 litres of juice or wine. Mix with hot water (100ml per 5g) and stir vigorously for 10 minutes before adding.
