Description: Hans Reisetbauer Blue Gin in Oak is a fascinating hybrid spirit that blends the crisp botanical clarity of Reisetbauer’s signature Blue Gin with the warmth and texture of barrel aging. After distillation with a refined mix of 27 botanicals over estate-grown wheat, this expression is rested in oak casks, allowing soft wood influence to integrate into the botanical core. The nose reveals juniper and citrus zest softened by light vanilla, toasted oak, and dried fruit undertones. On the palate, the botanicals—citrus peel, herbs, spice—meld with caramel, toasted wood, and gentle tannic structure, creating a layered, silky texture. The finish is elegant and balanced, with lingering juniper, oak warmth, and nuanced botanical echoes—a unique gin ideal for sipping neat or in elevated cocktails.
