It’s the little things in life, the small details that make all the difference, it always is. The Butterfly Effect if you will. Small changes grow into bigger cascading events. Do I believe that a butterfly flapping its wings over the Gulf of Mexico will eventually cause a hurricane hitting the coast of Japan, of course I don’t. But it’s the small things you do, an act of kindness, that can make all the difference in a person's day. Sometimes that act of kindness can even save a person's life. Big grandiose gestures are complete vanity. They might make you feel good for a bit but in the end, they leave you empty inside.My name is Andrew Pinson, and I work in Terminal Operations at Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). I’ve recently been put on FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) leave as the City of Austin Department of Aviation has me in an Extremely Hostile Workplace Environment for doing my job and doing it very well. My supervisor has made safety errors in judgement, putting the Flying Public at risk, and I openly questioned his actions to my manager. There have been two fatalities within 8 months of each other and I’ve been ordered by my management “Chain of Command” to not do the Safety aspects of my job.
