JCB Grande Champagne Cognac 1969 is a vintage-dated cognac from Jean-Charles Boisset, drawn from the Grande Champagne cru — the most celebrated growth area of the Cognac region of France. Distilled from the 1969 vintage and brought to the US through Boisset Wines USA, it represents the rarest tier of the JCB collection: a single-vintage spirit that has spent decades maturing before bottling.
Age of this order transforms Grande Champagne eau-de-vie into something layered and unhurried. Expect deep rancio character woven through dried apricot, fig, and candied orange peel, with walnut, leather, and honeyed oak carrying into a finish that lingers well after the glass is set down. It rewards slow sipping and an unrushed evening.
A 1969 vintage cognac is a milestone bottle — a birth-year gift, an anniversary marker, or the centerpiece of a serious brandy collection. Pair it with the rest of the cognac and rare bottle selection at Liquor Geeks to build out a complete tasting shelf. Ships to most US states. Adult-signature required at delivery.
