Made entirely of wood when it was first released, this reissue is crafted in Italy from durable plastic, as it was originally envisioned. The original molded plywood version of the chair is represented in MoMA’s collection as is the current chair’s manufacturer, Kartell. Kartell pays homage to this design with an over 60-year history.
