Joseph Magnus Cigar Blend Batch 16 is a particularly nutty, rancio-rich expression of the Cigar Blend — finished in a 400-liter freshly dumped Armagnac cask that imparted abundant oxidized fatty-acid complexity prized in fine Cognacs and Armagnacs.
One of the most complex Cigar Blend batches to date, with an exceptionally long finish.
Tasting Notes
- Palate: Medjool date, California Mission fig, stewed prunes in Armagnac syrup, ginger snap, orange marmalade, Tawny Port, almond nougat, with a savory tang and graphite edge
