Kolfok Querschnitt Rot Blaufränkisch & Co. hails from Burgenland, Austria, where old vines planted between 1963 and 1975 shape its distinctive character. This natural red blend of Blaufränkisch, St. Laurent, Syrah, and Zweigelt is vinified with minimal intervention, undergoing carbonic maceration and aging for ten months in large wooden barrels. Unfiltered and with only a touch of sulfur at bottling, it embodies the pure, unadulterated essence of its grape varieties and terroir.  

The nose bursts with ripe black cherry, wild blackberry, plum, and hints of wild strawberry, all wrapped in delicate floral tones of violet and cherry blossom. The palate follows with juicy fruit, a bright yet balanced acidity, and silky tannins that create an effortlessly drinkable yet complex experience. Subtle notes of cocoa, clove, and a touch of pepper add depth, while a light saline quality gives it a refreshing lift.
