Laphroaig 30 Year Old A bold and rare single malt for life’s special moments. The first in our new annual batch series. With the mastery of our distillers, we continue the traditions and methods in which have always delivered the unique taste of Islay in every sip.
Our 30 Year Old is no different. Except for the fact it has spent more time in both American oak barrels and European ex-sherry hogsheads and butts.
The result is an additional depth of character creating an unforgettable tasting experience we know you will love.
TASTING NOTES
Color: Tawny
Aroma: Fruity and sweet initially with very distinctive top notes of zesty orange and lemon peel, vanilla custard and treacle toffee.
Taste: More delicate background notes are revealed such as bergamot, sweet pastries and fresh thyme along with white pepper on the palate.
Finish: This is finally followed by a smouldering peat smoke and sooty campfire notes.
WORTH EVERY SECOND
From beneath the clouds of Islay, our 30-year-old Laphroaig emerges to showcase what a bit of time and patience can reward whisky lovers with.
A newfound depth and complexity from maturing within American oak barrels and European ex-sherry hogsheads and butts, Laphroaig 30YO still possesses the comforting familiarity of our signature finish.
Marking the first release in an annual small batch series, this is an expression which showcases citrus zest alongside gentle touches of bergamot and white pepper, signed off by the smokiness Laphroaig is loved for.
Bottled at a fixed strength of 45.8%, it is an experience worth sharing amongst friends to celebrate the finer moments in life, together.
