Littorella uniflora, commonly known as American Shoreweed or US Micro Sword, is a compact, grass-like aquatic plant native to North America. It features narrow, bright green leaves that form low, dense clusters, making it an excellent foreground or transition plant for aquariums, paludariums, ponds, and riparium setups.
This species is especially valued for its versatility, thriving in both emersed and submerged conditions. When established, it spreads gradually via runners, creating a clean, natural look reminiscent of shoreline vegetation.
