This Moscato is made in the “New World” style, meaning that it is slightly drier than traditional Italian Moscato, yet it still preserves the sweetness that gave the varietal its fame. Moscato belongs to the Muscat family of grapes, one of the world’s oldest grape families! Around for centuries, Muscat made its way to California in the 1850s. Benefitting from decades of viticultural experience along with fertile soils and a temperate climate, Lone Vine winemakers carefully crafted a Moscato that’s deliciously expressive. Lone Vine Sparkling Moscato is perfect as an aperitif or with light desserts, such as cheesecake, berry tarts, or fresh fruit.
