A low pan head, flat-slot M4 x 7mm screw in 304 stainless steel (DIN 84, 0.7mm thread pitch), it's the exact screw Rancilio uses in several places, so grabbing the wrong M4 length is an easy way to end up with a screw that's too short to bite or too long to seat flush.

- Stainless steel resists galling, but don't overtighten into the grinder housing threads, snug is sufficient, and forcing it can still strip the housing's threads over repeated use.
