The tradition of Mirto Liqueur, famous on the island of Sardinia, arrived by way of bandits from Gallura who took it from nearby Corsica. Vicario's Mirto is produced using estate-grown myrtle berries macerated in neutral spirit which is then shipped to South Carolina where it is pressed, filtered, and bottled.
