Listed for sale is a 1960s vintage Poul Volther dining chair, model 351, produced by Soro Stolefabrik in Denmark. This is a classic example of Volther's work with lines that are reminiscent of other masters such as Borge Mogensen and Hans Wegner. This example has a seat made from Danish cord and is in nice original condition. There is some wear to the cording and thus, it could be easily re-done also if desired. The wood frame is untouched and original. It appears to be oak and has a lovely patina. The chair came from an estate just outside of Washington, D.C.
The chair measures 31.5 inches tall by 23.5 inches wide and 21 inches deep.
