Batch 4-KY. Barrel Strength. Old Carter Straight Bourbon Whiskey — the fourth Kentucky series batch from Mark and Sherri Carter, founders of Kentucky Owl, presenting barrel strength sourced Kentucky straight bourbon under the Old Carter label.
The KY-series batches distinguish Old Carter’s Kentucky straight bourbon expressions from the broader Old Carter American Whiskey line. Batch 4-KY follows Batch 2-KY and Batch 3-KY in the Kentucky series lineage, with each batch drawing on different aged Kentucky straight bourbon stock at natural barrel strength. The Carter family’s sourcing philosophy — honed through their experience building Kentucky Owl into one of America’s most respected independent bottlers — applies directly to the selection of each Old Carter batch.
