Description
Planteray O.F.T.D. Rum delivers a powerful, high proof profile packed with molasses richness, dark fruit, spice, and toasted sugar. Despite its intensity, the texture is surprisingly rounded, showing depth and structure without harshness. Its bold character makes it ideal for cocktails that rely on strong rum presence and layered flavor.
Producer
O.F.T.D. is a collaborative release from Planteray created with input from respected rum experts and bartenders. It blends high ester Jamaican rum with rich Guyanese and Barbadian components, each contributing distinct character. Bottled at robust strength, the blend is designed to perform in complex cocktails while honoring traditional Caribbean rum styles.
Cocktail Suggestion
Its concentrated depth makes it exceptional in a Jet Pilot, where the spice, citrus, and velvet falernum meet its intensity head on. It also anchors a true Zombie, providing the structure, heat, and molasses weight needed to carry the classic tiki build.
