Precision Double Portafilter Basket - 16/22g
An I.M.S.-engineered double basket with a convex bottom that concentrates the coffee puck toward the center during extraction, improving drying and expulsion. A solid upgrade over stock baskets for dialing in higher-dose double shots.
SPECIFICATIONS
- Border: Ø 68 mm (B68)
- Height: 26.5 mm (H26.5)
- Body: Ø 60 mm, fits a 58 mm tamper
- Shape: Cylindrical with convex bottom, ridgeless
- Perforated area: Ø 49 mm, 715 holes in hexagonal spacing, 0.30 mm conical holes
- Finish: Electropolished after wet vibrofinishing and passivation
COMPATIBILITY
- Fits: La Cimbali, Carimali, Gaggia
INSTALLATION
Drop-in replacement for the stock basket, no tools required.
PRO TIPS
- Match your dose to the 16-22g range stamped in the spec, overfilling a convex-bottom basket like this one causes uneven extraction at the puck's edges. Full I.M.S. spec sheet is available here.
