Rare Character Rye Limited Release 2025 Batch 8 is distilled and aged in Kentucky and Indiana, then bottled in Lexington, Kentucky, showcasing a carefully selected blend of eight-year-old rye barrels. Made from a rye-forward mash and bottled at 119.4 proof or 59.7% ABV, this release reflects a bold American rye style built around structure, depth, and character.
The tasting profile opens with cracked black pepper, baking spice, and fresh herbs, followed by citrus peel, dried grass, and subtle oak sweetness that lingers into a long, warming finish. Best enjoyed neat to appreciate its full intensity, it also opens beautifully with a few drops of water or over a large ice cube, making it ideal for slow sipping and late-night pours with friends.
