The Campo Del Cielo are a group of iron meteorites that fell roughly 600 miles north west of Buenos Aires Argentina between 4,000 and 5,000 years ago. The crater field covers an area of 2 x 11.5 miles and over 100 tons of material have been recovered from 26 distinct crater sites, making it possibly the heaviest meteorite to have ever been recovered. .
