Slide the tool into the opening toward the engine, ensuring the top of the tool engages with the teeth of the flywheel.
- 4500 & 5500 Flywheel Holder-:Intended for use with Duramax 4500/5500 trucks. Install the toothed pieces with screws after removing the rubber inspection cap on the bottom of the transmission. Insert the tool at the front of the opening to engage with the flywheel, then hand-tighten the bolt to secure the tool in place.
- 36mm Socket-:Utilize a 36mm 12-point socket with a 3/4 square drive to remove and re-torque the harmonic balancer bolt during installation. This socket can also be employed for axle maintenance tasks.
