CINQ makes it easy to sharpen your knives with the following steps:
- Attach your knife to its corresponding angle (10°, 15°, 17.5°, 20°, 25°)
- For your dullest knives, start sharpening with the 400-grit disc: Begin sharpening with the lowest grit for only your dullest knives. Make about 30 passes on both sides depending on how dull your knives are
- Move to the 1000-grit disc and continue sharpening and begin refining the edge. Make about 30 passes on both sides.
- Proceed to the 2000-grit disc to refine your edge. Make about 30 passes on both sides.
- Use the helix honing disc to align the tip of your newly sharpened edge.
- Clean the blade: Remove metal particles generated from sharpening.
- Enjoy your freshly sharpened knife.
