Made with only outstanding vintages of Italian sangiovese, merlot, and colorino grapes meticulously hand-harvested from the sunny hillsides of Tenute Ruffino estates, this chianti red wine offers a bright expression of violet, cherry, plum, and blackberry on the palate with intriguing notes of cinnamon and clove. This red blend wine is aged in oak, stainless steel, and concrete vats for 36 months, followed by additional aging in the bottle before release, enhancing its balance, elegance, and finesse, which will evolve for decades. A full-bodied chianti wine with plush, silky tannins and good acidity, its lasting finish offers hints of chocolate and coffee.
