Description: Sierra Norte Distilling is a company founded by Master Distiller Douglas French, who is passionate about using different varieties of Oaxacan corn to create unique and exceptional whiskies. Each variety is distilled and aged separately in French oak casks to highlight its individual character and flavors. When you smell Sierra Norte whiskies, you can expect to detect notes of toasted corn, buttery popcorn, and a hint of caramel. The palate of these whiskies is relaxed, pleasing, and extremely smooth, with flavors of mellow grilled pineapple and subtle red chili spice. The finish is long and warm, with notes of honey, allspice, and ash. Overall, Sierra Norte whiskies are a true delight for the senses.
