Skida Women's Balaclava

The Skida Women’s Balaclava is full neck and head coverage in a single layer hood and neck-cover. Made here in Vermont from brushed thermal poly-spandex fabric with moisture management and anti-microbial technology this is designed to be a stretchy, versatile, layering piece for managing the cold. The hood fits seamlessly under a helmet, hat, or can be pulled back and worn around the neck. The lower chin coverage is hinged, so it is easy to pull down when you don’t need full face coverage, pop back up again when you realize oh, yes, you do! With a UPF rating of 50+ this also works as a very nice sun blocker on those days when the rays are bouncing off the snowfield and defeating even the most lavish application of lotion. A nicely flexible piece for adding an extra layer on the bitter days that’s smooth and comfortable next to the skin that pulls down into lighter protection as the day warms up.
