Limited Time SaleEnhance your espresso extraction with the 58mm to 32mm Step-Down Basket, designed to create a thicker puck, improve pressure concentration, and deliver sweeter, more consistent shots in any standard 58mm portafilter.
-
Step-Down 58mm To 32mm Design: Smaller internal diameter creates a thicker coffee puck for sweeter, smoother espresso extraction.
-
Coarser Grind Advantage: Requires a coarser grind than traditional 58mm baskets, reducing bitterness and sharp flavors.
-
Enhanced Pressure Concentration: Deeper basket increases flow resistance and contact time for more even extraction.
-
Channeling Reduction: Improved puck density minimizes channeling and enhances shot consistency.
-
CNC Convex Precision Structure: Integrated CNC molding forms a conical pressure chamber for stable pressure build-up and better pre-infusion.
-
Optional Tamper-Free Extraction: Tapered design allows espresso extraction without tamping when grind size is properly adjusted.
-
Puck Screen Recommendation: For puck screen use, the 38mm version is recommended to avoid over-tight headspace.
-
Optimized for Roast Flexibility: Particularly enhances sweetness in medium-dark and dark roasts while improving balance in light roasts.
