• Blanco tequila produced in Arandas, Los Altos, Jalisco, at Destilería el Ranchito (NOM 1414) • Maestro Tequilero Sergio Cruz • Produced using 100% estate-grown Azul aka Blue Weber (Agave tequilana) matured 6–8 years • Roasted in brick ovens 48–50 hours • Milled using a roller mill • Open-air fermented using “the Mozart method” in stainless steel tanks for 5–8 days using proprietary and champagne yeast and deep well water • Distilled twice in copper pot stills • Tropical aromas of guava, peach, dragonfruit, grapefruit zest, strawberry, and a whiff of cinnamon with an herbaceous undercurrent of lemongrass, fennel/tarragon, and menthol; incredibly dense texture, silky and oily, with a mellow palate of cooked agave, sweet parsnip, orange peel, vanilla bean, white pepper, and a distinct note of wet slate and saline minerality throughout • Jay Kosher certified • Additive free • 40% ABV Tropical, herbaceous, and exceedingly approachable, this blanco tequila is a great example of what makes NOM 1414 so special. It plays like an easy-going crowd-pleaser, striking a full chord of classic Arandas tequila notes in glorious harmony, yet the balance and tension, the aromas and the finish, are so generous and so nuanced that even the most cynical agave nerd will enjoy exploring its depths.
