Travels With My Alien

Although not named in the novel, the first-person narrator is essentially the author, creating a travelogue based on her experiences in Italy. She expresses her view of and enthusiasm for some of the great artworks to be seen in that historic country. But woven through the narrative is a bright, often humorous, thread of fantasy. Her travel companion is a diminutive and secretive alien, a green man called Gren, through whom she gets caught up in life-threatening situations.
