This vintage Shakespeare Beaulite fly reel is a sought-after piece of angling history. Made in England, this precision-engineered trout reel features a lightweight yet durable aluminium construction with a distinctive perforated design that made these reels famous among fly fishing enthusiasts.
Balances beautifully on vintage and modern fly rods alike. The click-and-pawl mechanism produces that signature sound that all true fly anglers appreciate when a trout takes line.
The reel is in excellent working condition with all moving parts functioning properly. Some light patina and minor signs of use consistent with age and careful handling by previous owners only add to its character and charm.
